Finance Manager – Taiwan (Wugu)

About the role

The Finance Manager will lead finance and accounting operations for Eurofins entities in Taiwan, ensuring compliance with local statutory requirements and Eurofins Group policies. This senior role is responsible for accurate financial reporting, strengthening internal controls, and supporting business growth in a fast‑paced laboratory services environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the full set of accounts for all Taiwan entities, managing month‑end and year‑end closing and preparing financial statements in accordance with Taiwan GAAP and Eurofins Group (IFRS‑based) reporting requirements.
• Ensure full compliance with Taiwan tax laws (CIT, VAT, withholding tax, transfer pricing), coordinate statutory audits, tax filings and regulatory submissions, and act as the primary liaison with tax authorities and external auditors.
• Implement and maintain internal controls aligned with Group standards, support internal audits and remediate findings promptly.
• Lead and develop the local finance team (GL, AP, AR), fostering a high‑performance, compliance‑focused culture and managing succession planning.
• Drive standardisation of processes and systems, lead continuous‑improvement and automation initiatives, and support finance transformation projects and post‑merger integrations.
• Partner with Business Controllers to monitor cash flow, optimise working capital and provide ad‑hoc financial analysis as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 8‑10 years of progressive accounting/finance experience, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Strong analytical ability and capacity to understand complex structures and processes quickly.
• Proven experience managing statutory compliance, audits, and tax matters in Taiwan.
