Facilities Engineer

About the role

Micron Technology is hiring a Facility Engineer at its Taichung factory (Fab 16). You will join a team dedicated to maintaining and improving the company's facilities, in a collaborative environment where you can make a significant impact.

Key responsibilities

• Keep facility systems such as HVAC, electrical and plumbing running smoothly and maintain them.
• Plan and coordinate construction, renovation and maintenance projects so they finish on time and within budget.
• Develop and enforce safety protocols and procedures for a safe workplace.
• Work with cross-functional teams to define facility needs and find innovative solutions.
• Carry out regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations.
• Manage vendor relationships for quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Apply project management skills to implement facility upgrades and improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a similar field.
• At least 3 years of experience in facility management or a comparable position.
• Proven track record of carrying out facility upgrades and improvements.
• History of following safety protocols consistently.

Required skills

• Solid understanding of building systems, including HVAC, electrical and plumbing.
• Project management experience managing several projects at once.
• Proficiency with facility management software and tools.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
