Fab Equipment Maintenance Engineer

About the role

Micron Technology is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to support equipment in its Taiwan fab. The role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and rebuilding electro‑mechanical systems that keep the manufacturing line running efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting on non‑functioning equipment.
• Dismantle, adjust, repair, and re‑assemble equipment according to blueprints, manuals, or sketches.
• Use test and diagnostic tools to conduct equipment check‑outs.
• Rebuild manufacturing equipment as needed and execute modifications directed by engineers.

Required profile

• Associate degree in Electronics, Engineering diploma, or equivalent experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to understand complex mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of vacuum systems and ability to troubleshoot them.
• Ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams to component level.
• Good problem‑solving, time‑management, and multitasking skills.
• Flexibility to work 12‑hour shifts and adapt to changing responsibilities.
