Senior Product Quality Engineer

About the role

As a Senior Product Quality Engineer at Peloton you will ensure hardware products meet high quality standards throughout their lifecycle. You will identify risks early, define quality plans, lead investigations, and work with cross‑functional teams from concept to mass production.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with multi‑functional teams to conduct early risk assessments using FMEA/NUD and implement mitigation strategies.
• Lead cross‑functional response to critical quality escalations, applying 8D/RCCA methods to drive issues to closure.
• Define, implement, and audit quality processes at final assembly sites to meet quality targets.
• Develop predictive models to estimate warranty rates from field test and reliability data.
• Communicate quality risks, mitigations, and next steps to leadership and influence partners to improve field performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or related technical discipline.
• 6+ years product development experience, including 3+ years in a quality role for complex electro‑mechanical products.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional technical teams and drive business‑critical quality improvements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to influence decisions at all levels.

Required skills

• Statistical data analysis using tools such as Minitab or JMP.
• Advanced quality methodologies: DOE, MSA, hypothesis testing, GR&R, CpK.
• Risk assessment techniques: FMEA, NUD.
• Root‑cause analysis and corrective action frameworks (8D, RCCA).
• Predictive modeling for warranty and reliability forecasting.
• Six Sigma Greenbelt knowledge.
