Electrical Engineer (Instrumentation & Electrical)

About the role

Air Liquide Far Eastern (ALFE), a joint venture between Air Liquide and Far Eastern New Century established in 1987, is hiring an Electrical Engineer in Zhubei City. The role works with plants on overhaul and troubleshooting, covering electrical maintenance, spare parts efficiency and validation of electrical drawings before manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure safe, quality and effective maintenance of electrical equipment and auxiliaries in the assigned plant, handling tools and equipment safely and efficiently
• Carry out electrical interventions when necessary and approved by superiors, and record significant activities and maintenance parameters in equipment history files for trending, quality management and maintenance planning
• Take part in electrical equipment and system troubleshooting and root cause analysis sessions
• Conduct thermal scanning of electrical equipment
• Monitor availability of critical spare parts by issuing correct specifications, maintain the standard parts list for electrical control systems and prepare manuals for electrical components and systems
• Establish quality control procedures and train operators
• Validate all electrical drawings before manufacturing

Required profile

• Technical background
• Experience in electronic technical jobs is an advantage
• Ability to work independently
• Willingness to work 24-hour on-call duty
• Good communication skills
