E&I Proposal Engineer (Project Planning Engineer)

About the role

Air Liquide Far Eastern (ALFE), a joint venture between Air Liquide and Far Eastern New Century Group established in 1987, is hiring an E&I Proposal Engineer in Zhubei City. The role manages project proposals for equipment and installation (E&I) for electronics customers, coordinating and supervising the design, procurement and cost analysis of E&I projects of various sizes. The engineer ensures that safety, cost, schedule and quality are met according to the requirements of internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure project compliance with company and government regulations, procedures and standards on health, safety and environment, and meet customer requirements.
• Carry out project management activities such as project planning, supplier management, risk management, cost management and scheduling management to ensure successful delivery.
• Coordinate with internal and external key stakeholders to resolve problems.
• Take an active part in business proposals during the business development phase.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• More than 1 year of project management experience in an engineering company or the chemical industry; experience on electronics projects for semiconductor companies is preferred.
• Good understanding of process engineering of chemical or gas process operations.
• Familiarity with project management methodology and execution in engineering, construction management and commissioning management, including project procurement and subcontracting management.
• Good communication and coordination skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• Good command of both English and Chinese Mandarin.
