Data Analyst I – Patient‑Centered Research

About the role

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Data Analyst I to support the Patient‑Centered Research (PCR) group. You will work on survey‑based studies ranging from small patient cohorts to thousands of respondents, applying statistical and data‑programming expertise to generate actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, clean, and analyze research data across multiple PCR projects.
• Review and contribute to statistical analysis plans (SAP), study reports, and related documentation.
• Conduct descriptive analyses and statistical modelling of clinical outcome assessment data.
• Participate in regular meetings with research teams and stakeholders.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Epidemiology, Health Economics, Biostatistics or related field, or a BA/BS with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of SAS and/or R programming experience.
• Strong written and oral communication skills in English.
• Advanced knowledge of statistical methods such as hypothesis testing, ANOVA/ANCOVA, factor analysis, mixed‑effects modelling, various regression techniques, survival analysis, item‑response theory, data imputation, multiple testing, and latent class analysis.
