Contract Manager – Wind Farm Projects

About the role

The Contract Manager will support Vestas' Customer Project Execution Department in delivering wind farm projects from contract signing through final testing. Working closely with logistics, procurement, finance, sales and legal teams, the role ensures commercial interests are protected while maintaining safety, quality, schedule and budget.

Key responsibilities

• Manage commercial and contractual aspects of the construction phase for new wind farms.
• Review, present and advise internal stakeholders on obligations under Turbine Supply Agreements.
• Maintain project risk register and support the risk‑management process.
• Evaluate potential claim scenarios, provide recommendations and handle claims management activities.
• Draft formal claim correspondence and record contractual lessons learned.
• Facilitate alignment with internal functions such as legal and finance.
• Support sales and bid teams with ad‑hoc commercial and contractual advice, including extensions of time, cost compensation and adverse weather principles.

Required profile

• Background in Law, Construction, Quantity Surveying or Engineering with strong contract experience.
• Proven negotiation tactics, planning and risk‑management expertise.
• Ability to manage internal stakeholders and resolve disputes.
• Strong relationship‑management and communication skills.
