Build Operation Group Leader – Manufacturing

About the role

We are looking for a Build Operation Group Leader to oversee multiple work centres in our manufacturing facility in Tainan. The role manages a team of 15‑30 employees, ensuring safety, quality and operational performance while driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and develop a team of at least five direct reports, covering 15‑30 staff across shifts and work centres.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental procedures, conduct checks, report defects and promote a safety‑first culture.
• Set targets, appraise performance and coach employees to build the capabilities needed for mid‑term business goals.
• Drive the achievement of operational KPIs, contribute to factory planning and manage budget allocations.
• Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives, foster a CI culture and share best practices across teams.
• Provide management information and analysis on operational performance to senior leadership.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, representing the organisation in cross‑functional projects.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or equivalent with substantial experience in planning and managing manufacturing operations.
• Proven track record of leading teams of 15‑30 people in a production environment.
• Strong knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations and ability to enforce them.
• Experience in budgeting, KPI management and continuous‑improvement methodologies.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
