Autonomous Systems DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a motivated entry‑level Engineer to join our unmanned maritime systems team. You will work on a variety of tasks that combine DevOps, full‑stack software development and ROS2 integration, supporting the R&D effort to build autonomous vessels for Taiwan’s waters.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in Linux server setup, configuration and service management.
• Write and maintain Ansible playbooks for automated provisioning and configuration.
• Support development of web‑based control interfaces and basic ROS2 node communication.
• Help maintain secure CI/CD pipelines on GitLab, including automated builds and tests.
• Package applications and ROS2 projects into Docker images, manage private registries and configure health checks.
• Execute hardware‑in‑the‑loop (HAT) and system‑acceptance (SAT) tests to validate new capabilities.

Required profile

• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Management or a related field (fresh graduates welcome).
• Solid foundation in programming and familiarity with front‑end/back‑end web development.
• Comfortable working with Linux command‑line tools and basic networking concepts.
• Understanding of Git version‑control workflow.
• Quick learner with good documentation and communication skills.
• Proficient reading and writing in English.
