Associate/Specialist Site Reliability Engineer – Technology

About the role

We are looking for an Associate/Specialist in Site Reliability Engineering to join our Group Technology team in Taipei. You will help keep the bank’s infrastructure resilient, secure and efficient while supporting both day‑to‑day operations and strategic projects.

Key responsibilities

• Support Business As Usual (BAU) activities and manage system and application changes efficiently.
• Assist application projects and drive End‑of‑Support (EOS) and re‑platforming initiatives.
• Design robust system platform architectures across Linux, Windows and Middleware environments.
• Execute ISCD hardening on all systems to ensure a secure operating environment.
• Manage and maintain security patching for Linux, Windows and Middleware platforms.
• Oversee maintenance, management and optimisation of application tools.
• Develop and implement automation scripts to streamline operations and reduce manual effort.
• Analyse, resolve and implement solutions for Network Vulnerability Assessment (NVA) findings.
• Ensure all technology operations comply with the bank’s policies, standards and regulatory guidelines.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in Site Reliability Engineering, system administration or infrastructure operations.
• Proven expertise in designing system platform architectures across Linux, Windows and Middleware.
• Hands‑on experience with ISCD hardening standards and security patch management.
• Strong proficiency in creating automation scripts using appropriate scripting tools and languages.
• Experience managing application tools and supporting EOS/re‑platforming projects.
• Familiarity with identifying and resolving Network Vulnerability Assessment issues.
• Ability to support BAU changes and application projects in a high‑availability financial environment.
• Deep understanding of technology risk management and compliance with banking policies.
