Associate Engineer – Software QA

About the role

We are looking for an Associate Engineer in Digital Technology to join our Software QA team at West’s Taiwan Digital Technology Center. The role focuses on ensuring the quality of our software products through both manual and automated testing, supporting a fast‑paced, innovative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain manual test coverage for software applications.
• Develop and execute automated test suites.
• Write test scripts in Python and manage test code with Git.
• Collaborate with developers, QA peers and other stakeholders to drive product quality.
• Prioritize and manage multiple testing tasks under tight deadlines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field (preferred).
• At least 1 year of experience in software quality assurance.
• Strong curiosity and ability to quickly learn new technologies.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, agile environment.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• Git version control.
• Robot Framework.
• Azure DevOps.
• Container technologies such as Docker.
• Agile development practices.
• IoT technology, application design and device connectivity.
