Actuarial Consulting Internship – Taiwan

About the role

Join Mercer’s Wealth team in Taiwan as an Actuarial Consulting Intern, helping to grow the Asia Pacific Actuarial Practice from the ground‑up. You will support end‑to‑end consulting for defined benefit and defined contribution retirement plans.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in actuarial and quantitative analysis projects, assessing costs, rates, risks and trends.
• Process, validate and update data in actuarial and financial models.
• Collaborate with analysts and consultants to resolve queries and contribute to special projects.
• Gather, organise and verify data accurately, and help prepare reports and recommendations for clients.

Required profile

• Graduate degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science or a related quantitative field.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills in English and Mandarin.
• Ability to multitask, work independently and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of VBA or other programming languages is a plus.
