Account Sales II – New College Graduate Program

About the role

Applied Materials, a global leader in materials science and engineering solutions for semiconductors and advanced displays, is offering a structured 6‑month on‑the‑job training program in Linkou for new college graduates. After training, you will be permanently assigned to the Taichung office to support customers and drive sales of cutting‑edge semiconductor equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Contact and visit existing or prospective customers, identifying needs and assisting in sales strategy development.
• Support customer demonstrations together with product business group representatives.
• Communicate Applied Materials’ product roadmaps and capabilities, and convey customer technology needs to internal teams.
• Prepare product pricing quotes, documentation, and may assist in negotiating final pricing.
• Follow up on accounts receivable and maintain accurate coverage and documentation for assigned customers.
• Summarize customer visits, develop action plans, and execute them in a timely manner.

Required profile

• Recent Master’s degree graduate with less than one year of work experience (including recent military service).
• Combination of technical and business education (e.g., Engineering or Science undergraduate followed by a Master’s in Business or Management).
• Strong analytical and quantitative abilities with the capacity to turn data insights into business actions.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to influence diverse audiences.
• TOEIC score of 800 or higher, demonstrating strong English proficiency.
• Proactive, outgoing, and customer‑oriented with solid interpersonal skills.
• Leadership experience through student organizations, projects, internships, or extracurricular activities is a plus.
• Familiarity with AI productivity tools and presentation development platforms is preferred.
