Account Executive - Enterprise Sales

About the role

Gartner is hiring an Account Executive in Taipei for a field sales role focused on direct client contract value, retention and growth. The role covers contract expansion, introducing new products and services, and consulting with C-level executives to build an enterprise-wide strategy that maximizes the value Gartner delivers.

Key responsibilities

• Consult with C-level executive clients to develop and implement an effective, enterprise-wide strategy that maximizes the value Gartner delivers
• Manage accounts with the outcome of increased customer satisfaction, retention and account growth
• Master and consistently execute Gartner's internal sales methodology
• Lead junior sales account executives through coaching, mentoring and development

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree required; master's or advanced degree a plus
• 5-8 years of proven consultative sales experience in high technology (services, software or hardware)
• Ability to prospect and manage C-level and senior-level relationships within large global enterprises
• Experience building client relationships with a value-added, strategic vision
• Comfortable selling to and influencing senior executives
• Able to solve complex problems and manage ambiguity and change
• Teachable, open to feedback, and a consistent high achiever

Required skills

• Full knowledge of the sales process from prospecting to close
• Senior sales leadership and coaching
