2026 Internship Programme – AI Tools and Digital Transformation

About the role

Air Liquide Far Eastern (ALFE), a joint venture between Air Liquide and Far Eastern New Century Group, offers a 2026 internship programme starting on 1 July, lasting 6 to 12 months depending on the track, with 20 hours per week. The core task is to use or develop AI tools to simplify processes and improve workplace efficiency. The programme covers corporate communications, product and business management, environmental health and safety, supply chain management, plant construction project engineering and manufacturing management, with locations in Taipei, Hsinchu, Kaohsiung and Taichung.

Key responsibilities

• Corporate communications: use AI tools or programming to optimise communication materials, monitor and summarise domestic and international news, and run internal communications and events.
• Product and business management: use AI to automate contract management and analyse pricing consistency and sales process efficiency.
• Environmental health and safety: use AI, programming and visualisation tools to automate EHS management mechanisms and workflows.
• Supply chain management: support the group's digital supply chain platform with pre-launch testing and post-launch optimisation.
• Plant construction project engineering: join gas plant projects, build a practical knowledge base with AI and develop risk early-warning and cost-prediction models.
• Manufacturing management: automate facility management systems and build data platforms for spare parts, carbon emissions, energy and inspections (Kaohsiung); automate production and process workflows and reports (Hsinchu); run digitalisation projects and new product introduction analysis (Taichung).

Required profile

• Undergraduate or graduate student currently enrolled.
• Ability to apply or develop AI tools.
• Good English and Mandarin.
• Interest in the gas industry and the open positions.
