Senior Manager, Key Accounts – Biotech Portfolio Lead

About the role

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a senior‑level leader to drive strategic growth with its most valuable biotech and life‑science customers. As the primary point of contact for key accounts, you will shape and execute comprehensive account strategies that expand commercial relationships and deliver high‑impact solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic account plans across multiple market segments.
• Identify growth opportunities, coordinate cross‑functional teams, and deliver innovative product and service solutions.
• Maintain executive‑level relationships with customers and act as their trusted advisor.
• Negotiate and manage high‑value contracts, ensuring profitable outcomes.
• Analyze market dynamics, competitive landscape, and customer needs to inform strategy.
• Travel 40‑60% to engage with customers and represent Thermo Fisher at industry events.

Required profile

• Master’s degree with at least 12 years of commercial experience in life sciences, healthcare or related fields.
• Proven track record of managing strategic customer relationships and achieving revenue growth.
• Strong financial acumen, analytical capabilities and strategic thinking.
• Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively and uphold Thermo Fisher’s values of Integrity, Intensity, Innovation and Involvement.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office suite.
