Finance Manager – Accounting & Reporting (Taiwan & Hong Kong)

About the role

The Finance Manager will lead accounting and reporting activities for our operations in Taiwan and Hong Kong. You will ensure accurate, timely financial statements, statutory filings and tax compliance while providing insight to support business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the monthly, quarterly and annual financial close, ensuring GL accuracy and complete reconciliations.
• Review journal entries, accruals and adjustments and maintain consistent accounting policies.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and local GAAP, preparing statutory accounts and disclosure notes.
• Act as liaison with internal and external auditors, overseeing statutory audit processes.
• Prepare and file provisional, deferred, indirect and corporate income tax returns, supporting tax audits and transfer‑pricing compliance.
• Maintain internal controls, SOX compliance and documentation, identifying and mitigating reporting risks.
• Provide financial insights and reporting packs to senior leadership.
• Drive finance process improvements and automation, and oversee accounts‑receivable monitoring.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• 10‑15 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years with a Big Four accounting firm.
• Public accounting and multinational corporate experience in statutory reporting, direct tax or tax accounting.
• Strong knowledge of external financial reporting regulations, group reporting manuals and account policies.
