Android Engineer

About the role

Binance, a leading global blockchain ecosystem, is expanding its mobile team. We are seeking an Android Engineer to design and implement new user‑facing features for our Android applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement new user‑facing features for Android applications, ensuring high performance and a smooth user experience.
• Build stable, efficient code and integrate third‑party APIs, including real‑time and low‑latency services.
• Write unit tests, troubleshoot critical bugs, and continuously improve app performance.
• Participate in technical and architectural discussions, contributing to long‑term product direction.
• Optimize memory, layout, battery usage, rendering, networking, and cold‑start performance.
• Support modularization, maintainability, and large‑scale refactoring efforts.

Required profile

• 5+ years of Android development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
• Solid understanding of object‑oriented programming and Android fundamentals.
• Experience with Jetpack components such as ViewModel and Room.
• Proven track record of performance optimization and issue diagnosis.
