Technical Program Manager – EPG Refurbish

About the role

Applied Materials is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead equipment refurbishment projects within the Equipment Product Group (EPG). You will coordinate planning, execution, and cross‑functional collaboration to ensure refurbished semiconductor tools meet quality, cost, and delivery targets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate refurbishment projects for 200mm and legacy semiconductor equipment, including schedule and cost alignment.
• Lead core teardown meetings, create SOW/Delta BOMs, and use the Product Structure Tree database.
• Provide technical support to manufacturing, production control, and field teams.
• Support cost‑reduction initiatives and maintain process‑improvement matrices.
• Prepare project plans, track progress, and generate reports, charts, and checklists.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of engineering experience in the semiconductor industry, preferably hardware‑related.
• Familiarity with semiconductor process tools (MDP, FEP, Etch) is a plus.
• Strong English communication skills for global meetings.
• Understanding of the secondary semiconductor equipment market.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% across APAC.
