About the role
The Application Engineer will support Applied Materials' Tainan Display Manufacturing Center and Lab, focusing on eBeam testing and inspection technology for advanced display production.
Key responsibilities
- Lead complex application activities, including on‑site evaluations, demos, and development of new methodologies to optimise system performance.
- Interface with customers to analyse technical requirements, define application support plans, and conduct technical review meetings.
Required profile
- 5+ years of experience in the semiconductor or display industry, with a strong customer‑facing and project‑management background.
- Willingness to travel 20‑30% of the time and good English communication and presentation skills.
Required skills
- Expertise in eBeam testing and inspection technology.
- Ability to develop and transfer new application capabilities from product division to customer support teams.
