Manufacturing Technician (GRFO)

About the role

As a Manufacturing Technician you will work hands‑on in a cleanroom environment building, repairing and testing multimillion‑dollar display and wafer fabrication equipment. You will use work orders, schematics and parts lists to assemble electrical, electro‑mechanical, vacuum and pneumatic components while ensuring quality and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Use work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams and parts lists to build, repair and test equipment assemblies.
• Perform electro‑mechanical assembly operations, troubleshooting and repairs under moderate supervision.
• Receive parts, audit inventory, inspect for defects and suggest process improvements.
• Utilise test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors and vacuum pumps to verify assemblies.
• Complete required documentation, including data entry, labor details and, when needed, computer programming or software installations.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of semiconductor or display experience, or comparable industry or military background.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures (written and verbal).
• Knowledge of basic hand tools.
