Materials Planner

About the role

We are looking for a Materials Planner to manage inventory pipelines for low to medium‑complexity customer demand. The role ensures a steady supply of parts by monitoring backlogs, shortages and forecast data, while collaborating with internal teams to keep operations running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and pipeline inventory for low‑to‑medium complexity demand, focusing on lower dollar value and part count.
• Review backlog and shortage reports to guarantee uninterrupted inventory supply.
• Utilise Arrow flex reports and other tools to match backlogs and identify gaps.
• Prepare and upload Arrow‑generated forecasts for e‑compass, managing any exceptions that arise.
• Maintain manual bonds to ensure continuous availability of inventory.

Required profile

• 2‑year degree with 3–5 years of relevant experience, or high‑school diploma with equivalent experience.
• Developed specialized skills through training and on‑the‑job experience.
• Ability to work under moderate supervision and act as an informal resource for less‑experienced colleagues.
• Strong analytical mindset to identify key issues from partial or conflicting data.
• Broad perspective to spot less obvious solutions.
