About the role
The Director, Account Management will lead Mastercard's relationship with assigned strategic accounts across multiple countries. This senior position requires a commercially‑driven mindset, strong relationship‑building abilities, and the capacity to design and launch payment programs that increase market penetration and revenue.
Key responsibilities
- Own the profitability and strategic alignment of assigned customers across geographies.
- Develop and execute tactical plans that boost both customer and Mastercard earnings.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional Mastercard teams to identify new segment and product opportunities.
- Leverage Mastercard brand assets and sponsorships to deliver differentiated value.
- Manage administrative and operational aspects of the customer portfolio.
- Lead product, program, and service development initiatives as needed.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and business workshops to sustain growth.
- Perform market research and assess viability of new concepts.
Required profile
- Self‑motivated business developer with a pragmatic commercial approach.
- Proven relationship‑management and influencing capabilities.
- Strong execution focus with experience in the financial or technology sector.
- Background in business development or product management.
- Comfortable working with technology and across multiple functions.
