Solution Architect

About the role

Infosys is seeking a Solution Architect to lead the design and migration of enterprise applications, platforms and databases for global clients. The role involves shaping target architectures, guiding migration strategies and ensuring seamless integration across complex environments.

Key responsibilities

• Define target architectures for upgraded applications, platforms and database systems.
• Guide migration strategy, deployment approaches and integration design.
• Review technical designs and ensure alignment with architectural standards.
• Assess compatibility across systems, interfaces and data components.
• Support performance, reliability and stability considerations during migration.
• Prepare architectural documentation, guidelines and technical reference materials.
• Identify technical risks and provide mitigation recommendations.
• Collaborate with business, development, testing and infrastructure teams.

Required profile

• Background in Computer Science, Engineering or related fields.
• Experience in enterprise architecture or application/database migration.
• Strong understanding of integration models, system design principles and operational architecture.
• Ability to lead teams through complex technical transitions.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Mandarin language proficiency is required.

Required skills

• Java or .NET development.
• Spring Cloud and Spring MVC frameworks.
• Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL and MongoDB databases.
• Cloud infrastructure concepts such as VPC, virtual machines, storage services, API management, authentication & authorization and messaging platforms.
• Experience with enterprise applications like SAP and CRM platforms.
• Design of cloud‑native, multi‑cloud and performance‑engineered solutions.
