Manager of AI, Tools & Automation

About the role

Jabil is seeking a senior leader to head a high‑velocity engineering team that applies AI, software tools, and automation to revolutionize Product Validation. The manager will identify high‑impact opportunities, deliver rapid solutions, and drive measurable gains in productivity, speed, quality, and scalability.

Key responsibilities

• Build and lead a cross‑functional AI, Tools, and Automation development team.
• Define and execute a roadmap that eliminates manual work and accelerates engineering velocity.
• Drive adoption of AI technologies such as large language models, intelligent agents, workflow automation, and data‑driven insights.
• Develop tools that improve validation efficiency, test execution, reporting, knowledge management, and decision‑making.
• Partner with Product Validation leadership to pinpoint bottlenecks and deploy rapid solutions.
• Foster a culture of experimentation, agility, ownership, and continuous improvement.
• Measure impact through productivity gains, cycle‑time reduction, quality improvements, and user adoption.
• Collaborate with System Engineering, Program Management, Manufacturing, and other JDS groups to scale AI and automation opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in software, automation, data, or AI development.
• 5+ years of engineering leadership experience with a proven ability to build high‑performing teams.
• Demonstrated track record of delivering business‑impacting software solutions.
