Director, Account Management – Enterprise Sales & Strategic Partnerships

About the role

The Director, Account Management will own the Mastercard relationship with assigned enterprise accounts in Taiwan, driving revenue growth and strategic alignment. This senior position requires a commercially pragmatic business developer who can influence both customers and internal cross‑functional teams to launch impactful payment programs.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full relationship lifecycle with assigned customers across multiple geographies, ensuring profitability and strategic fit.
• Design and execute strategic and tactical plans that boost customer and Mastercard revenue.
• Develop strong relationships with key influencers at the client side and within Mastercard support functions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify new segment and product opportunities and create bespoke propositions.
• Leverage Mastercard brand, products, and services to deliver exceptional customer value.
• Oversee administrative and operational matters for the target customer set.
• Manage and evolve existing and new products, programs, and services as required.
• Conduct regular performance review meetings and business workshops to sustain growth momentum.
• Perform market research and opportunity assessments for new concepts, evaluating viability and supporting market strategy.
• Provide recommendations on market strategy, profit planning, expense management, and budgeting.

Required profile

• 12‑15 years of experience in business development, account management, product management, or finance, preferably within fintech or financial services.
• Highly self‑motivated, results‑driven with a proven track record of successful account strategies.
• Ability to integrate knowledge across sales, product, marketing, finance, operations, and risk disciplines.
• Strong financial acumen and competence in handling complex deals, understanding revenue, cost, and financial impact.
• Outstanding individual contributor with ambition to lead a team.
