About the role
The Sales Operations Officer supports day‑to‑day sales activities for assigned accounts, primarily indirect sales, ensuring high customer satisfaction and efficient internal processes.
Key responsibilities
- Process routine and smaller customer orders accurately, reviewing purchase orders for pricing, specifications, and freight terms.
- Act as liaison between internal teams (field sales, engineering, manufacturing, purchasing) and external vendors and customers.
- Manage customer service requests, including order status, RMA confirmations, credit checks, and shipping requirements.
- Maintain and monitor the open backlog of orders, service requests and RMAs from entry through billing.
- Research and resolve vendor invoice discrepancies related to price, quantity, freight, and tax codes.
Required profile
- Developed knowledge of sales support processes through formal training or work experience.
- Entry‑level candidate comfortable working within established procedures with moderate supervision.
- Ability to identify problems, assess standard procedures and make sound decisions.
Required skills
- Proficiency with ERP systems (Arrow ERP, Oracle ERP).
- Order processing and backlog management.
