Transaction Strategy & Execution Consultant (Senior)

About the role

Join EY’s Transaction Strategy and Execution team to help clients navigate the full lifecycle of M&A transactions, from strategic analysis through integration. You will act as a single point of contact, guiding clients to make the right deal decisions and ensuring successful execution.

Key responsibilities

• Lead client engagement teams on finance, operational, HR, and IT aspects of transaction strategy.
• Conduct commercial due diligence, market assessments, competitor analysis, and opportunity evaluations.
• Assess client readiness, identify high‑risk areas, and recommend improvements.
• Support M&A integration, carve‑outs, operational due diligence, and day‑one readiness assessments.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships to drive repeat business.

Required profile

• University graduate with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Strong analytical and research abilities, capable of reviewing financial statements and forecasts.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English and Chinese.
• Proven ability to lead teams, mentor staff, and foster an inclusive environment.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
