Technician, Process Integration Engineering (PIE)

About the role

The Process Integration Engineering (PIE) Technician supports engineering teams in a manufacturing environment, executing design of experiments, managing experimental flows, and analysing structured data to drive process stability and yield improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Execute DOE plans, manage experimental flows and perform structured data analysis.
• Provide first‑level failure analysis for process deviations, equipment alarms, and abnormal lot conditions.
• Prepare samples, conduct cross‑section analysis and operate specialised equipment such as X‑Ray and Energy Dispersive X‑ray (EDX) systems.
• Monitor process stability in critical steps (e.g., diffusion, testing) and intercept anomalies to prevent yield loss.
• Perform electrical, thickness and inspection measurements with full documentation and traceability.
• Convert raw manufacturing data into preliminary quality reports to support Statistical Process Control (SPC) and accelerate yield ramps.

Required profile

• Experience with first‑level failure analysis in a manufacturing or process‑engineering setting.
• Ability to work with detailed documentation and maintain traceability of measurements.
