Technical Trainer – Semiconductor Tools

Key responsibilities

• Deliver specialized technical training courses at Applied Materials facilities and customer sites, requiring domestic and international travel.
• Maintain up‑to‑date product knowledge, create and improve training documentation, and certify trainees on multiple platforms.
• Provide technical expertise for system repairs, ensure safety retrofits, and support engineering teams with ECO reviews.
• Mentor junior instructors, manage multiple training projects, and contribute to the development of new procedures and best‑known methods.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience with semiconductor tools; hands‑on tool experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel 20‑30% of the time, including occasional off‑shift or weekend sessions.
• Strong English communication and presentation skills.

Required skills

• Familiarity with ALD, MDP, IMP, CMP, Etch, PDC, or DDP processes.
• Technical training and instructional design capabilities.
• Troubleshooting and system repair expertise for semiconductor equipment.
