System Engineer – Semiconductor Solutions

About the role

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop complex projects that combine electrical, mechanical, physics, algorithms and software design, and attend design reviews to meet market and hardware/software specifications.
• Define system architectures, write detailed specifications for subsystems and interfaces, and drive architecture brainstorming sessions to select the final top‑level design.
• Coordinate with marketing, management and vendors to understand requirements, develop competitive products and ensure integration of subsystems.
• Support system integration during assembly and final testing, troubleshoot engineering problems and ensure manufacturability and serviceability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• 7–10 years of experience in system engineering, preferably in semiconductor or metrology equipment.
• Experience developing recipes for metrology tools such as XCT, VMM and CMM and producing failure analysis reports.
