Sr. Hardware Design Engineer

About the role

The Senior Lead Engineer, Electrical Design is responsible for creating new electrical systems and circuits for a variety of applications. You will research concepts, develop schematics and system specifications, and validate designs through testing and simulation. The role also includes supporting manufacturing and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to ensure high‑quality product delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, development and implementation of electrical solutions across multiple domains.
• Participate in project planning, scheduling and provide technical leadership to engineering teams.
• Review, interpret and negotiate customer requirements, delivering feedback and recommendations.
• Develop schematics, Bills of Materials, diagrams and detailed drawings.
• Conduct testing, simulation, measurement and troubleshooting of system performance.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of industry standards, regulations and best practices.
• Collaborate with suppliers, customers, contractors and internal teams to resolve issues.
• Analyze data, generate reports and recommend design modifications.

Required profile

• 4 to 6 years of experience in electrical/hardware design engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven ability to lead technical projects and mentor engineers.
• Strong communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
