About the role
We are looking for a Software Engineer to develop and maintain high-quality software using object-oriented programming. The role focuses on building and optimizing Android framework components and the underlying operating system for handheld devices.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain software modules in C++ or Java.
- Create and integrate Android framework components, including applications, system/user services, and hardware abstraction layers (HAL).
- Optimize and customize the Android OS to meet performance and stability requirements for handheld devices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams following Agile methodologies to ensure timely delivery and continuous improvement.
Required profile
- Strong background in object-oriented programming.
- Experience with Android platform development and system integration.
- Ability to work in an Agile environment and contribute to iterative development cycles.
