Security Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on Security Engineer to design, implement and maintain security controls for our GPU‑as‑a‑Service platform and supporting infrastructure. Reporting to the Senior Director / Head of Security, you will work closely with Platform Engineering, SRE, DevOps and Product teams to embed security across cloud, GPU clusters, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines and operational tooling.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain security controls across cloud environments, data‑centers, GPU clusters, bare‑metal hosts and Kubernetes platforms.
• Configure network segmentation, firewalls, ingress/egress policies and service‑to‑service security.
• Harden Linux hosts, container runtimes, hypervisors and system images, and establish secure configuration baselines.
• Manage IAM, RBAC, MFA, privileged access and secret‑rotation processes for multi‑tenant workloads.
• Deploy security monitoring, centralized logging, SIEM integration and automated detection/response playbooks.
• Operate vulnerability‑management programs, integrate security checks into CI/CD pipelines and conduct threat modeling.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• 3‑5 years of hands‑on security engineering, cloud or DevSecOps experience.
• Strong knowledge of Linux security, networking, containers, Kubernetes and infrastructure‑as‑code.
• Experience with IAM controls, secrets management, SIEM, vulnerability management and incident response.

Required skills

• Linux hardening, firewalls, VPN, DNS, TLS, PKI.
• Kubernetes, container runtimes, Docker, container scanning tools.
• Infrastructure‑as‑code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
• IAM, RBAC, MFA, secret‑rotation, encryption key management.
• SIEM platforms, security monitoring, detection engineering.
• Vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, threat modeling.
• Automation scripting in Python, Go, Bash or PowerShell.
