Server Electrical Principal Engineer

About the role

As an Electrical Principal Engineer you will join Dell Technologies' Electrical Engineering team in Taipei, Taiwan. You will work across the full hardware development lifecycle, from concept through to production, delivering state‑of‑the‑art server electrical designs.

Key responsibilities

• Define system architecture and lead electrical design for server platforms.
• Perform analysis, prototyping, component sourcing, and debugging of layouts and routing.
• Validate designs against schedule, feature set, functionality, quality, and industry standards.
• Collaborate closely with designers, cross‑functional teams, and external suppliers.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in electrical hardware development for server or similar high‑performance products.
• Strong ability to lead complex projects and work with multidisciplinary teams.
• Demonstrated expertise in ensuring designs meet quality, reliability, and regulatory requirements.
