Senior Technical Consultant – Risk Solutions

About the role

Join SAS as a Senior Technical Consultant in the Financial Risk Solutions practice, based in Taipei with a hybrid work model. You will act as a trusted advisor to banks and financial institutions, translating complex regulatory and business requirements into technology‑enabled risk management solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on credit, market, liquidity, interest‑rate and operational risk, including regulatory capital, IFRS 9, stress testing and ALM.
• Interpret Basel frameworks, IFRS 9, IRRBB, LCR and NSFR and assess their impact on capital, P&L and solvency.
• Lead discovery workshops with senior banking executives and risk leaders to capture priorities and solution needs.
• Translate regulatory and business requirements into solution designs, analytical approaches, configuration specifications and implementation plans.
• Guide integration and automation of RWA, expected credit loss, regulatory capital, ALM and stress‑testing workflows.
• Provide technical and functional leadership throughout the solution lifecycle, including architecture, data preparation, configuration, validation, testing and deployment support.
• Deliver demos, proofs of concept and executive presentations to communicate business value.
• Collaborate with SAS sales, consulting, delivery, product and industry teams to shape client solutions and support business development across APAC.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with deep expertise in financial risk management and regulatory frameworks.
• Proven consulting experience engaging senior banking and risk stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, communication and workshop‑facilitation skills.
• Ability to lead solution design, configuration and implementation in a client‑facing environment.
• Experience working within the Asia‑Pacific financial services market.
