About the role
Circle is expanding its blockchain infrastructure to enable global tokenization. As a Senior Software Engineer you will design, build, and own scalable microservices and APIs that move value across blockchain and traditional banking protocols.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high‑performance, secure microservices and publicly accessible APIs for asset transfer.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to design, test, and document system architecture, testing procedures, and quality standards.
- Troubleshoot system issues, integrate platform services with leading banks and fintech providers, and ensure reliable payment experiences.
Required profile
- Minimum 4 years of professional software development experience in object‑oriented languages, specifically Go.
- Experience leading small technical teams (2‑4 members) on architecture and system design.
- Strong communication skills in English and Mandarin Chinese.
Required skills
- Go (Golang) with frameworks such as Gin and Fasthttp.
- Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure).
- Experience designing RESTful APIs and working with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with Go tooling (go mod, go lint) and production‑grade deployment practices.
