Senior Purchaser – Strategic Sourcing & Inventory Management

About the role

The Senior Purchaser will lead strategic sourcing and manage the active‑components supply chain. You will ensure timely order fulfillment while optimizing inventory levels and reducing excess stock.

Key responsibilities

• Strategically plan and execute orders to meet delivery schedules.
• Develop and implement strategies for slow‑moving inventory and excess‑stock reduction.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities and negotiate favorable supplier terms, including rebates.
• Maintain accurate inventory oversight to balance availability and carrying costs.
• Build strong vendor relationships to secure advantageous agreements.
• Analyze forecast demand, coordinate with cross‑functional teams, and resolve order or inventory discrepancies.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in active‑components procurement.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, supply chain or related field (preferred).
• Proficiency in statistical analysis and problem‑solving techniques.
• Excellent written and oral communication, strong time‑management, and ability to work independently under tight timelines.
