Senior Procurement Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Procurement Specialist to partner with internal stakeholders, identify sourcing needs, and drive value‑focused supplier engagements for Qualcomm Semiconductor.

Key responsibilities

• Identify stakeholder requirements for small to medium projects and translate them into clear procurement specifications.
• Research and qualify potential product and service suppliers, staying current on market trends and cost drivers.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies, issue RFPs, and evaluate supplier responses using category data, market analysis, and should‑cost models.
• Negotiate moderate‑complexity commercial and legal terms to achieve the lowest total cost of ownership while meeting project goals.
• Manage supplier contracts from execution through ongoing relationship management, ensuring performance and compliance.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to prioritize project deliverables and meet deadlines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations or a related field (or equivalent advanced degree).
• 2+ years of procurement or operations experience; 4+ years preferred.
• Experience working in a large matrixed organization and interacting with senior leadership.
• Strong analytical abilities and knowledge of sourcing mechanisms and supplier evaluation.
