Senior Legal Counsel – Commercial & Corporate Governance

About the role

Eurofins Taiwan is seeking a commercially‑minded Senior Legal Counsel to act as a trusted advisor to the leadership team and business stakeholders. This role goes beyond contract review, focusing on strengthening governance, compliance, and legal risk management while supporting responsible growth.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including customer contracts, supplier agreements, service agreements, and NDAs.
• Partner with business teams to identify legal risks and deliver practical, business‑oriented solutions.
• Support corporate governance and legal administration across multiple Taiwan entities, handling statutory filings, corporate records, and shareholder documentation.
• Monitor legal and regulatory developments, assess business impacts, and promote a strong compliance culture.
• Provide legal advice on employment and labor law matters in collaboration with HR and business leaders.
• Develop and continuously improve contract management processes, legal templates, and governance frameworks.
• Deliver legal and compliance awareness training to employees and managers.
• Coordinate external counsel when needed and contribute to strategic initiatives and special projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law or higher.
• Minimum 5 years of legal experience, including at least 3 years in an in‑house role.
• Strong experience in commercial contract management and negotiation.
• Working knowledge of Taiwan corporate, commercial, employment, and regulatory laws.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem‑solving skills.
• Professional proficiency in English and Mandarin Chinese.
