Senior Facility Water Engineer

About the role

Micron Technology is seeking a Senior Facility Water Engineer to join its Taiwan operations. You will be responsible for ensuring a reliable supply of high‑quality water for semiconductor manufacturing, working on design, construction, and commissioning of water treatment systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design, construct, and commission water treatment systems for fab operations.
• Review vendor design drawings, specifications, and equipment configurations for completeness, constructability, and alignment with P&ID.
• Validate engineering calculations and approve equipment and component submittals in coordination with O&M staff.
• Manage construction RFIs, review shop drawings, and provide field engineering QA during build.
• Support system commissioning and enter system data into capacity‑planning software.
• Perform safety and quality duties, including JHA preparation, PPE compliance, lockout/tagout, and chemical safety.
• Drive quality‑improvement initiatives and maintain up‑to‑date area procedures and documentation.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in water treatment engineering, preferably in a semiconductor or high‑tech manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of safety, environmental, and quality standards applicable to fab facilities.
• Proven ability to work cross‑functionally with O&M, vendors, and construction teams.
