Senior Admissions Counselor

About the role

Crimson Education is seeking a Senior Admissions Counselor to guide ambitious students through the college admissions process. The role involves creating personalized, data‑driven strategies and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of tutors, mentors, and consultants.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute individualized admissions roadmaps for each student.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of high‑school curricula, extracurricular options, summer programs, and standardized test planning.
• Conduct formal consulting sessions with students on a bi‑monthly basis and document action items.
• Partner with parents to set realistic school targets and curate best‑fit school lists.
• Lead and coordinate the student’s Crimson team (educational coordinators, academic tutors, application consultants, mentors).
• Provide strategic guidance on research projects, leadership initiatives, and competition participation.

Required profile

• Proven experience in college admissions counseling or related advisory roles.
• Strong understanding of Ivy League, Top‑20, and US Top‑15 university requirements.
• Ability to work full‑time remotely or from any global office; part‑time candidates (25‑30+ hours) are also considered.
• Excellent communication and mentorship skills.
