Senior Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our global finance team. Reporting directly to the Accounting Supervisor, you will play a key role in complex financial reporting, daily accounting operations, and audit oversight.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Accounting Supervisor to ensure accurate monthly and year‑end closing, including balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Process Procure‑to‑Pay transactions managed by the Global Finance Team in a timely manner.
• Perform monthly bank compliance activities and meet all financial reporting deadlines.
• Assist with local tax reporting, including VAT, withholding tax filings and tax reconciliations.
• Support internal and external audit processes and follow up on daily operational issues.
• Implement procedural improvements to enhance departmental workflows.
• Undertake any additional responsibilities assigned by the manager or company.

Required profile

• 4+ years of relevant accounting experience; experience in a Big 4 firm is a plus.
• Strong communication, negotiation and cross‑functional coordination abilities.
• Deep understanding of accounting standards and regulations.
• Ability to identify and resolve accounting issues.
• Fluent in Mandarin and English, both written and spoken.
