Finance Manager – Mandarin Speaking (Fintech)

About the role

We are seeking a Finance Manager who will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial operations and financial reporting. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will ensure accurate and timely financial information and support effective decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic finance business partner, translating management strategies into actionable plans and overseeing implementation.
• Develop and maintain planning and budgeting systems, preparing management reports, budgeting, costing, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decisions and identify opportunities or risks.
• Ensure compliance with government regulations and international accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP).
• Establish and update procedures, implement internal controls and align financial information with global best practices.
• Monitor cash‑flow projections, optimise working capital and manage relationships with global banks.
• Provide guidance to the finance team, oversee daily tasks and ensure compliance with internal policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in accounting, finance operations, FP&A or internal control, preferably in a multinational financial‑services environment.
• Strong grasp of internal controls and experience with international accounting principles (IFRS, GAAP).
• Fluency in Mandarin and English with excellent communication across cultures.
• Results‑oriented, proactive leadership style and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, multicultural setting.
