Product Counsel – Equities & Tokenized Securities

About the role

Binance is seeking a Product Counsel to lead legal support for its equities and tokenized securities product line. The role will act as the primary legal liaison for these products, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation across the full product lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact within Legal for equities and tokenized securities, coordinating with Commercial, Corporate, Regulatory, Data Privacy, Litigation and other legal teams.
• Partner with cross‑functional groups such as Compliance, Risk, Marketing, Business Development, Customer Support and Tax to drive product development from design through launch and ongoing advisory.
• Identify, assess and mitigate legal risks specific to tokenized securities and traditional financial instruments.
• Advise on licensing, approval applications, AML/CFT requirements and other regulatory matters across multiple jurisdictions.
• Draft, amend and negotiate product‑centric contracts, including brokerage, tokenization, trading terms and partner agreements.
• Ensure marketing communications, announcements and social media campaigns comply with financial promotion and advertising rules.
• Handle client complaints and disputes in collaboration with litigation colleagues.
• Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, providing guidance across time zones.
• Stay current on industry trends and regulatory developments at the intersection of digital assets and traditional equities.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer with experience in securities, financial instruments and digital‑asset regulation.
• Proven ability to work across jurisdictions and coordinate with multiple internal teams.
• Strong analytical skills to identify and mitigate product‑related legal risks.
• Excellent communication skills for drafting contracts and advising non‑legal stakeholders.
