Procurement/Purchasing Specialist

About the role

Renesas Electronics is looking for a Procurement/Purchasing Specialist in Taipei. The role manages end-to-end procurement operations, from quotation and order review to invoice validation, payment monitoring, supplier coordination and procurement reporting. It works closely with Finance, suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure efficiency, data integrity, compliance and accurate execution of procurement activities, using pricing and spend data to support business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Review and validate supplier quotations, purchase orders, invoices and payment records for accuracy, completeness and compliance with company policies.
• Maintain procurement documentation and support internal controls, audit readiness and compliance.
• Monitor payment status and resolve invoice and payment issues with Finance teams and suppliers.
• Analyze supplier, pricing and transaction data, prepare regular reports and identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities.
• Maintain quotations, pricing and procurement data in ERP and internal systems, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Finance, Supply Chain and suppliers, and take part in procurement-related projects.

Required profile

• 3-5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain or related functions; semiconductor manufacturing experience preferred.
• Fluent English and Mandarin; Japanese is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, effective communication and stakeholder management.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and collaborate across teams.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, including data analysis, Pivot Tables and reporting.
• Hands-on experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
• Ability to use Power BI or similar business intelligence tools for data analysis and reporting.
