Procurement / Purchasing Specialist

About the role

Renesas is seeking a Procurement / Purchasing Specialist to manage end‑to‑end procurement operations. You will partner closely with Finance, suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure operational efficiency, data integrity and compliance while supporting business decision‑making with accurate procurement data.

Key responsibilities

• Review and validate supplier quotations, purchase orders, invoices and payment records for accuracy and policy compliance.
• Monitor payment status, resolve invoice issues and coordinate with Finance and suppliers.
• Analyze supplier, pricing and transaction data to produce regular reports, identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities.
• Maintain supplier quotations, pricing records and procurement data in ERP and internal systems, ensuring data accuracy and governance.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Finance, Supply Chain and suppliers on daily operations, process improvements and project initiatives.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain or related functions; semiconductor manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin; Japanese language capability is an advantage.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, including data analysis, Pivot Tables and reporting.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
• Ability to use Power BI or similar business‑intelligence tools for data analysis and reporting.
