Process Integration SMTS/DMTS

About the role

Micron Technology is seeking senior technical leaders in process integration to join Micron Memory Taiwan in Taichung, reporting directly to site senior management or the VP. As a Senior Member of Technical Staff (SMTS) or Distinguished Member of Technical Staff (DMTS), you will lead technical projects, define the technical roadmap and mentor engineers, helping develop DRAM process integration solutions that support yield ramp-up.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a critical task force and initiatives, driving a cross-functional technical team to execute the new technology node yield roadmap
• Work closely with process engineering, equipment teams, technology development and local yield teams to improve new technologies
• Guide and mentor team members, fostering continuous learning and career development
• Identify process improvement opportunities aligned with state-of-the-art product requirements while optimizing costs
• Build a fundamental understanding of structure and device, and its impact on manufacturability, cost and quality
• Provide engineering support to internal team members and senior leaders

Required profile

• At least 10 years of relevant experience in advanced memory or logic nodes
• Proven ability to lead complex technical projects and cross-functional teams
• Outstanding written and verbal communication, and strong interpersonal skills, including influencing and motivating others
• Ability to work with multi-functional, multi-cultural teams
• An advanced degree in Engineering or Science is preferred

Required skills

• Detailed knowledge of semiconductor integration and the interaction of processes and metrology
• Good knowledge of process engineering: lithography, dry etch, wet etch, CMP, thin film, diffusion and implantation
