Process Engineer III – Thin‑Film & Process Engineering

About the role

As a Process Engineer you will design and optimise manufacturing processes for display and semiconductor technologies. You will collect and analyse data, perform hardware characterisation and troubleshoot engineering issues.

Key responsibilities

• Design, collect data, analyse and compile reports on complex process engineering experiments.
• Perform hardware characterisation on a variety of difficult systems.
• Troubleshoot complex problems, conduct root‑cause analysis and resolve challenging process engineering issues.
• Generate internal documentation for products, presentations and technical reports.
• Communicate with customers to resolve complex process engineering concerns under limited supervision.
• Identify, select and partner with vendors and suppliers.
• Implement new technologies, products and analytical instrumentation.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Physics, Materials Science or a related discipline.
• More than 3 years of hands‑on experience in thin‑film or process engineering, including PVD, vacuum systems, optical coatings, semiconductor or display manufacturing.
• Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams and support customer‑facing activities, including travel as required.
• Experience working in a fast‑paced, high‑impact engineering environment, managing multiple priorities and urgent issues.
